UNITED NATIONS TRUST TERRITORY OF WET PAPUA 0 Comments

United Nations members have been in breach of the UN chatter since the 1960s, our governments have a legal obligation to demand Indonesia obey 
the law by allowing the self-determination promised in 1962.

In August 1959 a joint interest of the Rockefeller family and Robert Lovett, Freeport Sulphur, was trying to establish a mining claim in the colony of West New Guinea. Also in 1959 the Dutch were collecting names for a electoral roll and after political parties were formed and campaigned for support, the colony in 1961 elected representatives for a New Guinea Council which became their own part of the administration of their colony in April 1961.

Six months later the New Guinea Council created this manifesto of independence declaring their people's wish to be free, to become an independent nation called West Papua which wanted to "live in peace and to contribute to the maintenance of world peace".
